A heartening and unique immersive experience can be found at Melbourne Zoo, in its 32 year old tropical native Butterfly House. Despite the many animal enclosures that the zoo is famous for, this little corner of the zoo, between the tigers and elephants was the star attraction for this small group of wanderers.
As the dust settles after the flurry of present giving and incessant pavlova making, and the turkey is (almost) all eaten, it's finally time to sit down and enjoy some quiet time here in the hills.
On Eurobodalla's coastline there lies a hidden beach, only accessible by walking through another beach, when the tide is low enough to get across the rocks. This is called "Smugglers Cove".
